• To administer the affairs of Council on business principles and in accordance with the Local Authorities Act (Act 23 of 1992) and other applicable legislations • To implement lawful Council's decisions • To implement the five year Strategic Plan of the Council • To provide strategic leadership and management to the administrative structure of Council • To promote the good image of Council to the residents and stakeholders
• Revenue Collection • Billing • Payment to suppliers • Payroll • Administration of decentralized build together • Financial Reporting & projection • Budgeting • Fixed Asset Management • Managing of ICT infrastructure.
• Ensure proper facilitation of the process of recruitment and selection of candidates/applicants • Ensure that all necessary capacity building programmes concerning human resources are developed and implemented within the Town Council • Develop, implement and review transportation policy • Ensure that the Council’s Procurements policies and procedures are implemented successfully
• Cordinate the implementation of Local Economic Development Policy for Okahao Town council • Promote Small & Medium Enterprises and provide support services • Tourism Promotion • Marketing & Investment Promotion
• Ensure that basic infrastructural services (clean water, sewer disposal, electricity provision, construction of streets access roads & storm water are provided • Plan and direct urban planning and development processes • Land allocation, property management and development control • Project Management of the construction processes and maintenance of infrastructure • Provide guidance on and monitor environmental health management process
• Health Education • Waste Management • Business Inspection • Occupational health and safety • Meat and Food Inspection
